Harnoor Can Help You Understand Life Cycle Impact Assessment
...She has published the chapter called "Life Cycle Environmental Impact Assessment" in the newly released book, Encyclopedia of Sustainable Technologies.
Not only is Harnoor Dhaliwal a Certified LCA Consultant at EarthShift Global,
The chapter presents a brief description of life cycle impact assessment (LCIA). It covers the central concepts of LCIA such as the cause effect chain that leads from emission to damage; the components of the cause effect chains and how they are modeled to derive a characterization factor. It also includes an overview of the impact categories such as climate change, toxicity, acidification and respiratory inorganics.
Harnoor has also written this three part series of blog posts on this topic:
Understanding Life Cycle Impact Assessment Process: Part I – Overview and Fate
Understanding Life Cycle Impact Assessment Process: Part II – Modeling Exposure: Intake and Bioavailability
Understanding Life Cycle Impact Assessment Process: Part III – Modeling Effects and Conclusion
Want to Learn from The Expert?
Harnoor will be teaching our three hour Impact Assessment class online on Friday, November 10th, from 1-4 pm EST.
